For reals guys, almost every girls I know loves getting flowers...
So use that to your advantage!
What you will need to do this:
Flowers (obviously)
Honestly, everything else after that is optional. You can include a letter that says something cheesy, or tie the letters of your name/words of your message to the stems. Or you can just give them the flowers. That's entirely up to you.
Now let's talk about flowers. Some people are allergic. If you or your date happen to be plagued with this awful curse, I would recommend NOT using a bouquet. No need to cause any discomfort with asking someone to a dance!
Roses are a good choice, however they are not very cheap. Usually if you buy these the girl (and all of her friends) will melt because they think you're the greatest.
Chrysanthemums are cute and cheaper but they have a smell that some girls are not fond of. It's kind of... an acquired taste.
Orchids are beautiful and look awesome but they also smell a little funny.
(Actually a lot of flowers smell funny, there's not much you can do about it...)
If you want to get super technical you could always get into Flower Language and such. This will impress some girls but otherwise it's completely optional.
Girls - I honestly don't know how a guy would react to getting flowers but you could always try it and see how it works out for you!
Delivery is something else you may want to consider. However, you don't need to stress yourself out over a simple ask/answer.
So there you have it, a classic and simple way to ask or answer that your date will love! I hope this was helpful to you!
Good Luck!
