Lyrical Genius

If the person you happen to be asking is really into music (and what teenager isn't?), maybe you should try using song names!

What you will need to do this:
-A Computer
-A stash of Music
-A Burnable CD
-A list
-A CD case

I would recommend using this one to answer but you could use it to ask as well.

Figure out what you want your note to say first.  After you know what you want it to say it'll be a little bit easier to pick songs that fit. Access your stash of music or attack iTunes and have at it.  Take out the words in the note that the song name fills in. Make a playlist of those songs somewhere on your computer, put them in the correct order (seriously make sure you triple check), and burn the disk.
Put your CD in a case and decorate it however you wish.

Now you're probably wondering how this all works huh?? Well it's pretty simple actually.
So you have a sentence in your note that looks like this:

_______12________, when people ask you what my answer was, you'll have to tell them that "______13______"!

As your other person listens to the CD, they'll get to song 12 and it's One Thing is for Sure by Spill Canvas. Now they know that #12 is "One thing is for sure".  The next song on the CD is She Said Yes by Brad Paisley.  Therefore #13 is "She said yes".

Now the sentence looks like this:

One thing is for sure, when people ask you what my answer was, you'll have to tell them that "she said yes"!

So yeah, not too difficult.  If you wanted to use this as an ask then you could just use whatever songs you wanted but have them begin or end with the letters of your name. Or both if you're clever enough!

You could also give them balloons with your name in them and just use the CD as a distraction or put pieces of the note in the balloons.

So there you have it, a dance invite and a CD for the other person to use over and over again! I hope this was helpful to you!

Good luck!
